The South Essex Amateur Radio Society. For over 30 years we have run the very successful Canvey Radio Rally. The club was formed in 1982 and is still going strong. We meet at 19:00 hrs on the Second Tuesday of the Month, at our new venue St. Michaels Church, St Michaels Road, Daws Heath, Benfleet SS7 2U Map and more info HERE
Many aspects of Amateur Radio are supported by the Members such as Packet Radio, RTTY, CW, SSB, to mention just a few. If you are interested in Amateur Radio, Computing, Electronics, etc, then just come along, there is no pressure on you to join. Take your time and see if our club suits you, you will be made most welcome.

South Essex Amateur Radio Society Mission Statement
To promote and further Amateur Radio in South East Essex.
To provide education and training as required in the community and amongst our members in radio communication, telegraphy, and electronics.
To participate in community events where our aims are mutually compatible, such as are organised for Museums, Scouting, Windmills, etc
To conduct Amateur-Radio associated social events for our own members and interested members of the public.
To ensure a continuous supply of licensed and experienced operators available to help front line services in the event of a major emergency.
